Program Description

Paleo Joe's Fossils of the Michigan Basin Exhibit will be on display in the lower level of the library during the month of August.

Seven freestanding cases will be placed throughout the children and teen areas.

The fossils are REAL MICHIGAN FOSSILS from around the state dating back to the Devonian Period when Michigan was a warm tropical salt water sea. The exhibit includes Brachiopods (sea shells), Gastropods (snails), Crinoids (sea lillies) plants, world famous Petoskey stone corals and much more.
