The Diamond Couple, An existential journey through the memories of a centenarian couple serves as a meditation on aging and the power of memory to renew an attachment to life with each instant that passes. 

In 2022, Morrie recounts the final moments of his wife, Betty, who passed away at 103 in 2019. At the age of 108, Morrie harbors only one wish: to recover the memories shared with Betty during their 79-year union. As the couple gradually opens up to the camera over eight years of filming, their dynamic transforms radically. Betty overcomes her natural self-effacement, finds her voice, and gains self-confidence; and Morrie learns how to communicate emotion and affirm love.—Sonja Bertucci, Director
