Program Description

Program Description

A monthly book club for middle school students! (Recommended for grades 6-8)

Meeting at the Library

This month we will be meeting in person for a pizza party followed by a lighthearted book discussion.

JOIN US AS WE READ AND DISCUSS OUR FAVORITE CLASSIC BOOKS FROM CHILDREN'S LITERATURE.

What does it mean to be a classic? Does it have to be old? Is it the kind of books that teachers like? Maybe it just means a book that most people agree is particularly good? At this month's meeting we'll talk about how we define a classic, and discuss some of our favorites. Bring a book YOU think is a classic to share. Any book will do, but if you'd like a list of examples you can order from the library, follow this link
